Can I become an Air Force pilot after Class 12?

Yes, there is a route after Class 12. The NDA exam is the entry for the flying branch of the Air Force after Class 12, and you need Physics and Mathematics in Class 12.

  • After graduation you can apply through the CDS exam or through AFCAT for the flying branch.
  • All routes include Air Force Selection Board tests and a strict medical examination.
  • Eyesight and overall fitness standards are strict, so check the medical standards before you plan.
  • Build fitness, English and Mathematics skills early.

Keep a second plan ready, for example another branch or civil aviation, in case of medical rejection.

The second plan is practical advice. Many good candidates are medically unfit for flying, and having an alternative reduces stress.

Agreed. Consistency matters more than anything else here.
